"Speech files" of Angela Paresi, 1956-1958.

Although labeled as "speech files" of Angela R. Parisi, who was chairman of the Workers Compensation Board from 1955-1961, the series contains no copies of speeches. The files actually consist of copies of press releases, issued mainly by Governor Averell Harriman (1956-1958) and the Department of Labor; scattered issues of newsletters of the State University of New York (1958); and approximately 15 duplicate black and white photographic prints (ca. 8 x 10 inches) of Parisi (formal portrait), Robert Wagner, and (apparently) members of the Workmen's Compensation Board attending an unidentified function. The association of these files with Paresi's speechmaking is unknown.
